My roommate uses 7h5e6y8i4ttff and convinced me to try it; we both agree on its strengths. The app requests calendar permission on setup but no calendar feature is accessible anywhere. Not perfect, but no other app in this category gets the basics as right.

Installed 7h5e6y8i4ttff on my phone and my tablet — the cross-device experience is the main selling point. The widget refreshes on schedule; it hasn't stuck on stale content in four weeks. The app does one thing particularly well and that one thing is enough to keep it.
