Long-term user update: evfe6u4cx62m2a96s76uk7nint has gone through four major updates since I installed it. The app correctly resumes a long document at the exact paragraph I left, not just the page. I'd switch away tomorrow if a better alternative existed, but none does yet.

I switched to evfe6u4cx62m2a96s76uk7nint specifically for the offline reading feature and it has delivered on that. Links opened from outside the app land on the home screen rather than the relevant content. Not flawless, still first-reach on my home screen.

Been relying on evfe6u4cx62m2a96s76uk7nint for evening reading sessions and it handles that use case well. The search history is stored locally and doesn't appear to be sent anywhere based on network logs. Will update this review when the known bugs are addressed.
