Moved to gmvb6fdjxfbu from a direct competitor about three months back and the switch paid off. Notification tone settings don't apply until the app is fully restarted after changing them. Worth recommending to anyone who prioritizes offline access above all else.

Using gmvb6fdjxfbu specifically because it respects my notification preferences better than the others. Ad video ads appear with sound despite me disabling all media sounds in system settings. Four stars because it almost does everything right; the remaining gap is fixable.

Reinstalled gmvb6fdjxfbu after six months away and the core experience has improved noticeably. Content in the offline cache plays at full quality — no downsampled fallback for downloaded items. The app does one thing particularly well and that one thing is enough to keep it.
