Pulled gv5byy528gqt3kf from the store after a recommendation thread pointed to it specifically. The in-app browser opens links without kicking me out of what I was doing. Doesn't cover every edge case but nails the ones I need daily.

Post-update impressions of gv5byy528gqt3kf: the update brought real, noticeable changes to daily use. The subscription page doesn't list the cancellation policy clearly before asking for payment details. Would recommend it to a friend with the caveat about the sync bug.

gv5byy528gqt3kf is the third app I've tried in this category and the first one I've kept longer than a month. Battery optimization compatibility is handled well — the app doesn't fight the OS power manager. Minor frustrations aside, this is genuinely the best in the category.
