Post-update, rv8e5sggxjdfzb9ek3gu's battery optimization is measurably better than the previous version. Media downloads queue in order and start automatically when the previous item finishes. Solid choice once you spend the time to configure it the way you want.

rv8e5sggxjdfzb9ek3gu has been my app of choice for this task since the permissions model was simplified. The rate-this-app prompt has not appeared a second time since I dismissed it the first time. Four stars is a fair score right now — the app is close to excellent, not quite there.

If you need an app that handles offline content access reliably, rv8e5sggxjdfzb9ek3gu is worth trying. Syncing between my phone and tablet has not produced a conflict or overwrite in two months. I will be back if a release breaks Wi-Fi-only downloads.
