I tested swb86jdp against three alternatives and it came out ahead on the features I use daily. The scroll position in a thread resets to the top whenever I come back from a link. Still on it after a year, which tells you more than any rating could.

My sister uses swb86jdp and after watching her use it, I installed it on my own phone. The permission to read contacts is requested but no contact-related feature exists in the app. Not flawless, but the fundamentals are solid and improving.

Came back to swb86jdp after a failed experiment with a self-hosted alternative. Storage usage has stayed flat at around 180 MB for six weeks of regular use. The app has earned a permanent spot on my home screen through consistent delivery.
